Job Objectives
- The resource will be able to understand the business requirements assigned by the biometrics platform owner.
- The resource should have a basic understanding of the BIOMETRICS process/flow.
- The resource will be able to support all teams/group that interface with NEC biometrics.
- The resource will be reporting to the FFB platform owner and will be available onsite 40 work hours a week.
- The resource can work long hours, weekends and holidays depending on the priority and the completion of the activity/project.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and identify problems related to Face, Fingerprint Biometrics and BMS matching process.
- Create test scripts, test cases and assists in technical and functional testing.
- Provide monitoring via DYNATRACE, SOLARWINDS, NEC tools.
- Provide Application administration for windows and Linux platform.
- Provide onboarding support of new channels, and other projects i.e., UM and CAS.
- Provide maintenance activity support of SRE i.e., Operations System (OS) patch, TCP testing.
- Provide support in fixing L2 issues / BESH tickets.
- Participate in incident management / L3 escalation to NEC APAC
- Coordinate with different teams (i.e., SRE, EE, and Network) to complete the activity/project and facilitate connection with the Biometrics product.
- The resource will be able to support operations, administer, and monitor Face and Fingerprint BIOMETRICS (FFB) server/configurations.
- Provide support for project tasks i.e., BESH ticket creation with supporting documents.
- Provide support for product patch installations.
Experience
- Has Knowledge in Linux and Windows administration, configuration, and version patching.
- Has Basic understanding in Linux scripting.
- Has 1 year experience in MS word and MS excel.
- Has 6 months experience in SDLC
- Has 6 months experience in implementing and supporting application deployment.
- Has good communication and written skills.
- Knowledge of BESH and SRE applications is a plus but not required.
- Knowledge of Dynatrace and SolarWinds is a plus but not required.
- Knowledge of the banking operations process is a plus but not required.
- Knowledge of NEC BIOMETRICS is a plus.
